History of Favours
The custom of "Favours" can be traced back to early European History when they were known as " La Bomboniere". These were given by the wealthy to friends and family to celebrate special events such as Birthdays, Christenings and Marriages. In Recent years in the United Kingdom the practice of giving "Favours" at weddings, Christenings and other special occasions has truly taken hold. They are mainly given at weddings by the bride and the family as a special thank you to each relative or friend. |
